Agetas also fought in the Macedonian Wars, and served as strategos again, succeeding Dorymachus around the start of the 2nd century. In 200, he was the strategos who met with a Roman diplomatic trio consisting of Gaius Claudius Nero, Publius Sempronius Tuditanus, and Marcus Aemilius Lepidus.[3] References1. ^{{Cite book | last = Smith | first = William | author-link = William Smith (lexicographer) | contribution = Agetas | editor-last = Smith | editor-first = William | title = Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology | volume = 1 | pages = 71 | publisher = Little, Brown and Company | place = Boston | year = 1867 | contribution-url = http://www.ancientlibrary.com/smith-bio/0080.html }} {{SmithDGRBM|title= Agetas}}{{authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Agetas}}{{AncientGreece-bio-stub}}2. ^Polybius, v. 91. 96 3. ^{{cite book | last = Grainger | first = John D. | title = The League of the Aitolians | publisher = Brill Publishers | year = 1999 | location = Leiden | pages = 297, 346, 356–357 | url = https://books.google.com/books?id=9AVWMt1ciJoC | isbn = 90-04-10911-0}} 3 : Ancient Aetolians|Ancient Greek generals|3rd-century BC Greek people |
