On February 11, 1944, due to mergers, the station came under the ownership of Sanco. In November 1944, the station was rebuilt 100 meters closer towards present-day Asunarou Yokkaichi Station. On February 1, 1964, the Railway division of Sanco split off and formed a separate company, the Mie Electric Railway, which merged with Kintetsu on April 1, 1965.[2] The line has been operated by the Yokkaichi Asunarou Railway since April 1, 2015.[3] References1. ^{{cite book | last = Terada | first = Hirokazu |title = データブック日本の私鉄 |trans-title=Databook: Japan's Private Railways | publisher = Neko Publishing | date = July 2002 | location = Japan| isbn = 4-87366-874-3}} 2. ^ Kintetsu Company History 3. ^{{Cite news|url=http://response.jp/article/2015/04/01/248048.html|title=四日市あすなろう鉄道がスタート…近鉄内部・八王子線を引き継ぎ|language=Japanese|author=小佐野カゲトシ|website=Response|date=April 1, 2015|accessdate=April 4, 2015}} External links{{commons category|Akahori Station}}{{Kintetsu Utsube Line}}{{Coord|34.9590|N|136.6105|E|type:railwaystation_region:JP|display=title}} 3 : Railway stations opened in 1912|Railway stations in Mie Prefecture|1912 establishments in Japan |
