In 2011 its population was 1,037. Situated on the south bank of the river Alfeios, it took its name from that river. It is 2 km south of Salmoni, 4 km northeast of Epitalio, 8 km west of Olympia and 9 km southeast of Pyrgos. Alfeiousa resides at an altitude of 31 meters.
