He also produced Garland's directorial debut Ex Machina. He is the brother of Oscar-winning documentary maker Kevin Macdonald. His maternal grandparents were English actress Wendy Orme and Hungarian-born Oscar-winning filmmaker Emeric Pressburger. Filmography
