}}Andrew Clark (7 October 1879 – 10 August 1940) was a Scottish professional football left back who played for in the Football League for Leeds City and Stoke.[1]

Career

Clark was born in Ballingry and played for Hamilton Academical, Buckhaven United and Heart of Midlothian before joining English club Stoke in 1901.[1][2][3] He spent two seasons at Stoke, playing 37 times in 1901–02 and 22 in 1902–03, before returning to Scotland with East Fife.[1] He re-entered English football with Southern League side Plymouth Argyle in 1903.[9] He spent three seasons with the "Pilgrims" and made 143 appearances.[4] He then spent a season with Leeds City and then Brentford and Southend United.[5]
