It is one of his first releases to use sampled beats. Door Open at 8 am is from the same sessions, but samples jazz instead of progressive rock. The title track samples "Aquarian" and "Necromancer", two songs from Van der Graaf Generator's The Aerosol Grey Machine. Other artists sampled include Soft Machine, Le Orme, Patto, Fusioon, and Formula 3.
