Arambram is a small town near Madavoor, Kerala in India. Arambram is 20 km away from Calicut. It belongs to Madavoor panchayath, Kozhikode Taluk and District. HistoryIt is believed that the name of Arambram was actually Aramapuram, meaning the land of garden, but there is no authentic evidence in this regard. Places of importanceFamous VMK Botanical Garden is situated here. In this garden, more than 250 species of plants are protected. Noted writer VM Koya is the founder of this garden. A hanging bridge connects Arambram to Koduvally Panchayath. This bridge crosses Punoor River. While passing through Calicut Wayanad Highway, we can watch this bridge.
