释义 |
The Armadillo tea rooms was a café in Liverpool that were a significant part of the early '80s music scene. This was helped by their proximity to Mathew Street and Probe Records.[1][2][3][4] They were especially noted for the furry seat covers on the toilets. The building is now occupied by Flanagan's Apple.[5] References1. ^{{cite web |title=Legendary Liverpool Clubs Of Yesteryear |url=http://yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1343&page=2 |quote=In 1976 Eric’s regular Pete Wylie was sitting in a café in Mathew Street, making a mug of tea last all afternoon }} {{DEFAULTSORT:Armadillo Tea Rooms}}2. ^{{cite web |title=Larks in the Park |url=http://www.groovinrecords.co.uk/weblinks/Larks%20in%20the%20Park/Larks%20in%20the%20Park.htm}} 3. ^{{cite web |title=Five go mad on Merseyside |url=http://www.zttaat.com/article.php?title=58 |publisher=Zang TuUmb Tum and all that}} 4. ^{{cite web |title=Beatles in 1983 |url=http://www.beatlelinks.net/forums/showthread.php?t=17086 |quote=1983: In Liverpool, Paul has lunch with his brother Michael at the Armadillo tea rooms. }} 5. ^[https://www.flickr.com/photos/46892424@N05/4420105841/ Flickr] Accessed 2014-02-07 2 : Scouse culture of the early 1980s|Buildings and structures in Liverpool |
