He played at representative level for Great Britain, England and Yorkshire, and at club level for Featherstone Rovers (Heritage № 426) and York, as an occasional goal-kicking {{rlp|pr}} or {{rlp|sr}}, i.e. number 8 or 10, or, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums. Playing careerInternational honoursArnie Morgan, won a cap for England while at Featherstone Rovers in 1968 against Wales,[2] and won caps for Great Britain while at Featherstone Rovers in 1968 against France (2 matches), and in the 1968 Rugby League World Cup against France, and New Zealand.[3] County honoursArnie Morgan won caps for Yorkshire while at Featherstone Rovers; during the 1967–68 season as an interchange/substitute against Australia, during the 1968–69 season against Cumberland and Lancashire, and during the 1969–70 season as an interchange/substitute against Lancashire.
