It was the first music channel in both countries. In Poland after it was bought by MTV Networks Europe, closed and replaced by MTV Poland on June 7 2000, while in Romania the channel was renamed on June 26, 2004 as TV K Lumea [1] and later purchased by ProSiebenSat.1 Media and replaced by Kiss TV on November 8, 2006. Prior to launch as a channel, Atomic TV aired as programming block on polish cable channel PTK2 in 1996-1997.
