It is operated by JR Shikoku and has the station number "M01".[1][2] LinesAwa-Tomida Station is served by the Mugi Line and is located 1.4 km from the beginning of the line at {{STN|Tokushima}}.[3] Besides the local trains on the Mugi Line, some trains of the Muroto limited express service between {{STN|Mugi}} and {{STN|Tokushima}} and the Home Express Anan from {{STN|Tokushima}} to {{STN|Anan}} stop at the station.[2] LayoutThe station consists of a side platform serving a single track. There is no station building, only a shelter on the platform for waiting passengers.
