Óengus of Moray and Máel Coluim mac Alaxandair invaded Scotland with 5000 warriors according to the Anglo-Norman chronicler Orderic Vitalis. The forces loyal to David I of Scotland under Edward, Constable of Scotland met and defeated the invading army. Óengus of Moray was killed along with some 4000 of the Moravians. References
