Ben-Hur exhibited a cloverleaf roadster at the 1917 New York Auto Show.[3] In February 1918 Allyn announced that between 30 and 40 cars had been shipped to dealers, and that plans called for five to ten cars a week for the time being, owing to the difficulty in securing bodies. The company had a factory with a capacity of building 20 cars per day. A meeting was scheduled in March to increase capitalisation, but by May 1918 the company was in receivership.[4] Notes1. ^{{cite book|title=Automobile Journal, Volume 42|year=1916}} 2. ^{{cite book|title=Automobile year book|year=1917|publisher=McClure's Magazine, Automobile Dept.}} 3. ^{{cite news|title=Auto Show Breaks Records For Sales|url=https://timesmachine.nytimes.com/timesmachine/1917/01/13/118131007.pdf|accessdate=4 December 2012|newspaper=The New York Times|date=January 13, 1917}} 4. ^{{cite book|last=Kimes|first=Beverly Rae|title=Standard Catalog of American Cars: 1805-1942|year=1996|publisher=Krause Publications|location=Iola, Wisconsin|isbn=0-87341-428-4|page=1612}} External links
