He is the second newest and youngest member of the band. Rymer was also a member of No Machine and NK (formerly North Korea).[1][2] The Dillinger Escape PlanWhen Rymer had heard from a teacher that the band was auditioning drummers, he promptly made cover videos and posted them to YouTube, which got the attention of bassist Liam Wilson (Rymer claims to have learned the songs in three-second increments, writing out each part and subsequently piecing them together[3]). After a trial of auditions, guitarist Ben Weinman invited him to Australia to play Soundwave Music Festival, and in early 2009 it was revealed that Rymer would officially replace Gil Sharone as the new drummer.[4] Rymer has since appeared on The Dillinger Escape Plan's latest three releases, Option Paralysis, One of Us is the Killer and Dissociation. Other ProjectsPrior to joining The Dillinger Escape Plan, Rymer was the drummer for Long Island-based rock band The Rivalry.[5] Additionally, he played a short stint of shows with Psychostick in September 2010.[6] Later on in 2010, Rymer began playing with NK (then known as North Korea), featuring members of Envy on the Coast and The Rivalry. NK has released two efforts, an EP Basement Tapes Vol. 1 and a full-length record Nothing To Be Gained Here. In April 2014, Rymer had begun involvement in a new project, titled No Machine. To date, they have released one EP, Volume One. In December 2016, Rymer confirmed that he'd tracked drums for "a whole album's worth of material" towards Glassjaw's third album.[7] EquipmentTama Silverstar (Indigo Sparkle): 22" x 18" Bass Drum 14" x 6.5" Snare Drum 12" x 9" Tom 16" x 14" Floor Tom Zildjian Cymbals:14" A New Beat Hi-Hats 20" A Custom Crash 21" K Crash/Ride 19" Z3 Ultra Hammered China[8] DiscographyWith The Dillinger Escape Plan
