HistoryThe Blow-Me-Down Covered Bridge was built in 1877 by James Frederick Tasker (1826–1903) for $528 ({{Inflation|US|528|1877|fmt=eq}}).[2] The bridge structure incorporates a single-span multiple kingpost truss that spans {{convert|85|ft|m}} and has a roadway {{convert|14|ft|m}} wide. It rests on natural granite ledges which have been levelled with dry-laid stone. The bridge was restored in 1980.
