}}Boy, Girl is a short experimental film directed by Bruce LaBruce.[1]

LaBruce was influenced by the lyric Boy/Girl written by the Fifth Column band lyricist and singer Caroline Azar. LaBruce had asked if he could borrow the title. Boy/Girl is the A side of Fifth Column's first self-titled EP.

Boy, Girl stars G. B. Jones and Bruce LaBruce and was made in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1987. It is an experimental film which, aside from the two stars, features segments filmed from television of Mary Tyler Moore from the Elvis Presley film, Change of Habit. It was filmed silently on Super 8mm colour film with a soundtrack added in post-production. The songs used include an alternately sped up and slowed down version of The Monkees song "Mary, Mary".

In the film, G. B. Jones sits on a second story window ledge and watches through binoculars various events taking place between Bruce LaBruce and a skinhead and, alternately, Mary Tyler Moore and various male figures, and a man (Andrew J. Paterson) in a laundromat. The characters appear to become aware that they are being watched.

Boy, Girl was first shown as part of the J.D.s movie screenings in London in the UK, in Montreal and Toronto in Canada, at Hallwalls in Buffalo and in San Francisco in the U.S. in 1990 and 1991.[2]
