| image = | caption = | image_size = | position = Forward | shoots = Left | height_ft = 5 | height_in = 8 | weight_lb = 160 | team = | league = | prospect_team = | prospect_league = | former_teams = | played_for = Toronto Maple Leafs | birth_date = {{birth date|1946|11|16}} | birth_place = Quebec City, Quebec, Canada | death_date = {{death date and age|2017|3|28|1946|11|16}} | death_place = | draft = | draft_year = | draft_team = | wha_draft = | wha_draft_year = | wha_draft_team = | career_start = 1965 | career_end = 1967 | halloffame = | website = }}Brent Imlach (November 16, 1946 – March 28, 2017) was a professional hockey player, and a son of Punch Imlach.[1] He played three games with the Toronto Maple Leafs from the 1965–66 NHL season to the 1966–67 NHL season.[1] He was a graduate of Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute.[3] After his professional hockey career, Imlach then enrolled at University of Western Ontario's (UWO) Ivey Business School and played with UWO's OQAA team for two seasons.[2][3] After graduating with an HBA in 1970,[4] he rejected a contract from the Maple Leafs because he thought the contract was not generous enough and his signing rights were traded to the Buffalo Sabres in 1970, although he never played a game with the Sabres.[2] He continued his college hockey career with the University of Toronto and York University.[3] He graduated from York with a Masters in business administration.[5] Imlach went on to work for Molson Breweries as a director of advertising,[5] and ran the Vancouver Canadians as general manager (GM) from 1989 to 1997.[3][6] As GM, he won the Pacific Coast League Executive of the Year award in 1993.[7] He died in March 2017.[4][8] Career statistics
