Brewster Yale Beach (February 10, 1925 – 2008) was an Episcopal priest and psychotherapist. He presented proof that the Associated Press originated two years earlier than the date previously accepted by historians. BiographyHe was born on February 10, 1925 in Brooklyn to Brewster Sperry Beach and Orlena Weed. He was a descendant of William Brewster, the Pilgrim elder, and Elihu Yale. He died on June 17, 2008 in Staatsburg, New York.[1] It must also be noted that he was among the very few, that had a profound understanding of the latter works of the great Swiss psychologist and philosopher, Carl Jung. https://web.archive.org/web/20101225025136/http://www.cgjungpage.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=602&Itemid=40 References1. ^{{cite news |first= |last= |authorlink= |coauthors= |title=Brewster Yale Beach, 83, Clergyman-Psychotherapist |url=http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hJIJ0hWk7I9gvaEFOVemzFhv7bigD91DDBNO0 |quote=Brewster Yale Beach, an Episcopal priest and renowned psychotherapist who traced his ancestry to the publisher of the original New York Sun newspaper and founder of the Associated Press, has died at the age of 83. |work=Associated Press |date=June 20, 2008 |accessdate=2008-07-15 }}{{dead link|date=November 2012|bot=Legobot}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Beach, Brewster Yale}} 3 : 1925 births|2008 deaths|Beach family |
