Although under civilian ownership, the airfield still functions concurrently as NOLF Brewton and is used by Navy training aircraft located at Naval Air Station Whiting Field, Florida.[2][3] According to the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013, it is categorized as a general aviation facility.[4] Facilities and aircraftBrewton Municipal Airport covers an area of {{convert|880|acre|sqmi km2|2|abbr=on}} which contains three asphalt paved runways: Runway 6/24 is 5,135 x 150 feet (1,565 x 46 meters); Runway 12/30 is 5,066 x 150 feet (1,544 x 46 meters) and Runway 18/36 is 4,100 x 150 feet (1,250 x 46 meters).
