The area is bounded by St. Helens Road to the south and Walter Road to the north. The eastern limit is Page Street and it is bounded by Bryn-y-Mor Road and Westbury Street to the west. The Brunswick area consists of several streets linking St. Helens Road with Walter Road. Most of the streets consist of terraced housing north of Page Lane. The properties south of Page Lane fronting St. Helens Road are larger premises used as nursing homes, flats, professional practices and include a Masonic Hall, a Quaker Friends meeting house and a disused church. Local pubs in the area include the Brunswick Inn, The George and the Brynymor. Noteworthy Grade II listed buildings in the area include: the former administrative block of the former Swansea Infirmary; the Argyle Presbyterian Church of Wales; the St. David's Nursing Home & Annexe; St. Andrew's United Reformed Church; and the Church of St. Paul. 1 : Districts of Swansea |
