{{Infobox_gene}}Protein BTG3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the BTG3 gene.[1][2]The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the BTG/Tob family. This family has structurally related proteins that appear to have antiproliferative properties. This encoded protein might play a role in neurogenesis in the central nervous system.[2] References1. ^{{cite journal | vauthors = Yoshida Y, Matsuda S, Ikematsu N, Kawamura-Tsuzuku J, Inazawa J, Umemori H, Yamamoto T | title = ANA, a novel member of Tob/BTG1 family, is expressed in the ventricular zone of the developing central nervous system | journal = Oncogene | volume = 16 | issue = 20 | pages = 2687–93 |date=Jun 1998 | pmid = 9632145 | pmc = | doi = 10.1038/sj.onc.1201805 }} 2. ^1 {{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: BTG3 BTG family, member 3| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=10950| accessdate = }}
