It lies approximately {{convert|8|km|mi|0}} south-east of Bogoria, {{convert|15|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-east of Staszów, and {{convert|60|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-east of the regional capital Kielce.[4] The village has a population of {{increase}} 199. DemographyAccording to the 2002 Poland census, there were 195 people residing in Budy village, of whom 49.7% were male and 50.3% were female. In the village, the population was spread out with 26.2% under the age of 18, 34.4% from 18 to 44, 21% from 45 to 64, and 18.5% who were 65 years of age or older.[5]
