{{Unreferenced|date=May 2011}} The Bugun River ({{lang-kk|Бөген}} Bögen) is a river of southern Kazakhstan. It flows for {{convert|164|km|mi}} with a basin area of {{convert|4680|km2|mi2}}. The river begins at the confluence of the rivers Ulken-Bugun and Bala Bugun, flowing from the south-western slopes of the Karatau Mountain ridge.
