It is a bilingual organization and publishes the bilingual journal Canadian Journal of Political Science (Revue canadienne de science politique). The organization is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario and has an annual convention in conjunction with the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences.
