Cape Geddes is a cape which forms the northern end of the Ferguslie Peninsula on the north coast of Laurie Island, in the South Orkney Islands of Antarctica. It was charted in 1903 by the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition under William Speirs Bruce, who named it for Professor Patrick Geddes, a noted Scottish biologist and sociologist.[1]

Station C

A hut, known as Station C, was built in 1946 at Cape Geddes, but was never occupied and collapsed with the years.[2]

Important Bird Area

The cape lies within the Ferguslie Peninsula Important Bird Area (IBA), identified as such by BirdLife International because it supports a breeding colony of chinstrap penguins as well as over 200 pairs of southern giant petrels.[3]
