The Cardiff Big Weekend took place annually from 1993 to 2011 as part of the Cardiff Festival organised by Cardiff Council.{{cn|date=September 2018}} It lasted three days and was billed as "the UK’s biggest free outdoor music festival".{{cn|date=September 2018}}

Among the acts at the Pride Cymru Big Weekend in 2017 were Bright Light Bright Light, Charlotte Church and Zervas & Pepper.^[1]
