It is in the ecclesiastical province of Dublin. Previously the cathedral of the Diocese of Ross,[1] it is now one of three cathedrals in the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross. HistorySt Fachtna's is one of the smallest cathedrals in Ireland. It is the size of a typical parish church. [2] The church is famous for its Irish Wolfhound mascot. The Cathedral contains a fine set of six bells in the key of G, which are regularly rung.[3] See also
