Cattle Cabin is located in the Giant Forest of giant redwoods (Sequoiadendron giganteum), and is associated with Tharp's Log as a structure supporting ranching operations in the area. The cabin and the surrounding lands were bought by the National Park Service in 1916.[2] References1. ^{{NRISref|2008a}} 2. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.hscl.cr.nps.gov/insidenps/report.asp?STATE=CA&PARK=SEKI&STRUCTURE=&SORT=&RECORDNO=8|date=2008-12-08|work=List of Classified Structures|title=Cattle Cabin|publisher=National Park Service}} External links
