It lies to the west of Jimbaran and contains the lavish Ritz-Carlton Bali Resort & Spa. On top of the hill between Cengiling and Balangan there were plans to construct a large monument of Garuda Wisnu Kencana which would become one of the world's tallest at 125 metres.[1] Cengiling is a surfing location and is noted for its fluorescent painted arrows drawn onto the trees by surfers.
