}}Cerithideopsilla conica is a species of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Potamididae.[1]

Taxonomy

Reid et al. (2008)[4] moved Potamides conicus to the genus Cerithideopsilla based on the molecular phylogeny research.[4] Other subsequent study also confirmed this placement within Cerithideopsilla.[2]

Distribution

Distribution of Cerithideopsilla conica include Mediterranean and Indian Ocean.[3]

  • The Red Sea[1]

Description

The shell can attain a length of 14 mm.
