释义 |
}} Charles Bluemlein was an American type designer, best known for producing a series of script alphabets for the Higgins Ink Company of Brooklyn, New York. The scripts, designed to promote Higgins's ink products, were modelled on the handwriting and signatures of his acquaintances. The scripts were published in Script and Manuscript Lettering (1944),[1] which noted "We believe they form an invaluable contribution to the annals of script lettering." Bluemlein's alphabets form the basis of the Bluemlein Collection, a set of 32 commercial fonts developed by Alejandro Paul of the type foundry Sudtipos.
