{{BLP sources|date=November 2012}}Charles Postel (born 1954) is an American historian and professor at San Francisco State University.^[1] He studied at Laney College before receiving his B.A. from UC-Berkeley in 1995, and his Ph.D. from UC-Berkeley in 2002. Postel's scholarship focuses on Populism and social movements, and the Gilded Age and Progressive Era. He is best known for his book [https://www.amazon.com/The-Populist-Vision-Charles-Postel/dp/0195384717 The Populist Vision], about which the Longview Institute said,
