They are also known as Cheeta Thakur.[1] Present circumstancesThe Cheetah are an endogamous community and observe village exogamy. The divide their territory into four zones, and marriage cannot occur within the zone. They live in close proximity with the Merat community, a Hindu Rajput group, with whom they share many customs and traditions.
