Claire Weaver is a British-American screenwriter, director, journalist and author, and a former Magazine Editor and book award judge. Life and careerWeaver was born in England. She was a regular writer for the website Nerd Like You and UK science fiction magazines SciFiNow and Death Ray magazine. She was the Features & Production Editor of the British Science Fiction Association's Matrix Magazine from 2004-2007. Weaver was a member of the judging panel for the Arthur C. Clarke Award for 2007 and 2008, representing the British Science Fiction Association. In 2016, Weaver wrote several episodes of the animated children's series Eddie Is A Yeti for Toon Goggles. In 2018, Weaver co-wrote a Virtual Reality series, Into The Blind, for YouTube. She was also a contributing writer for Celebrity Ghosts & Notorious Hauntings, a non-fiction book to be published by Visible Ink Press in late 2019.
