As of the 2010 census, the population of Clarksburg was 149.[3] HistoryClarksburg was laid out in 1832. It was named for its founder, Woodson Clark.[4] The Clarksburg post office was established in 1835, but the name of the post office was officially spelled Clarksburgh until 1893.[5] GeographyClarksburg is located in northeastern Decatur County at {{coord|39|26|00|N|85|20|52|W|type:city}}. It is {{convert|12|mi}} northeast of Greensburg, the county seat.
