{{Infobox_gene}}CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 6 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CNOT6 gene.[1][2]The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the CCR4-NOT core transcriptional regulation complex. The encoded protein has a 3'-5' RNase activity and prefers polyadenylated substates.[2] References1. ^{{cite journal | vauthors = Chen J, Chiang YC, Denis CL | title = CCR4, a 3'-5' poly(A) RNA and ssDNA exonuclease, is the catalytic component of the cytoplasmic deadenylase | journal = EMBO J | volume = 21 | issue = 6 | pages = 1414–26 |date=Mar 2002 | pmid = 11889047 | pmc = 125924 | doi = 10.1093/emboj/21.6.1414 }} 2. ^1 {{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: CNOT6 CCR4-NOT transcription complex, subunit 6| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=57472| accessdate = }}
