Its vessel, the Coastal Runner, began service in October 2008 between Bowen Island and Vancouver Public Dock in Coal Harbour.[1] The crossing takes 40 minutes. The vessel carries 67 passengers and has wi-fi, washrooms, and tables for passengers.[2] In October 2009, the company was unanimously approved by the West Vancouver city council to run a 6-month trial connecting the 14th Street Pier in West Vancouver and Coal Harbour with a 15-minute ferry trip.[2][3] References1. ^{{cite news |first=James |last=Weldon |title=No berth at TransLink for Bowen ferry |url=http://www.canada.com/northshorenews/news/story.html?id=bf2e83ea-dc73-48b9-ad4d-3b261f971830 |work=North Shore News |date=2008-12-17 }} 2. ^1 "Private ferry service starting between West Vancouver and downtown" {{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120308205502/http://www.news1130.com/news/local/more.jsp?content=20091020_020629_9988 |date=2012-03-08 }}, News 1130, October 19, 2009. 3. ^"New ferry service to serve North Shore/Vancouver", CKNW, October 19, 2009.
