It is {{convert|58|ft|m}} wide and consists of a single oblique span of {{convert|70|ft|6|in|m}}[2] that was built with the arch courses running parallel to the abutments, leading to a weaker structure than other skew arch construction methods,[3] known as a false skew arch.[4] It was designed in 1888 by Andreas W.
