}}Conus bengalensis, common name the Bengal cone, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Conidae, the cone snails and their allies.[1] Like all species within the genus Conus, these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all. DescriptionThe size of the shell varies between 60 mm and 148 mm. {{Expand section|date=July 2015}}DistributionThis marine species occurs off the Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Sea, Burma and Thailand References1. ^1 {{WRMS species|215465|Conus bengalensis (Okutani, 1968)||27 March 2010}}
