The building was built in 1916 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 11, 1980. It is part of Rutgers-Camden. The mosaic frieze entitled "America Receiving the Gifts of Nations" which adorns the front of the building was designed by D'Ascenzo Studios of Philadelphia.[3] See also
