The album's only single, "As Soon as I Hang Up the Phone" went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, their fourth No. 1 single together. RecordingRecording sessions for the album took place on April 23, April 24, and April 25, 1974, at Bradley's Barn in Mount Juliet, TN.
