The long bladed leaves are up to {{convert|4|ft|m}} long by {{convert|0.24|in|mm|0}} across.[2] CultivationThe drought-tolerant and dramatic plant is cultivated by nurseries for use in personal gardens and larger xeriscape landscape projects in the Southwestern United States and California.
