Located west of Goshen in Clermont County,[2] it appears to have been occupied periodically for thousands of years.[3] Located along a small stream,[3] Devanney occupies an area of approximately {{convert|7|acre}}.[1] While it is primarily an Archaic site, the stratification indicates that many later cultures visited the site.
