|HOF= |CollegeHOF= }} Fred Richard "Dick" Riffle (February 2, 1915 – April 29, 1981) was a professional American football player who played running back for five seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Albright College. Professional careerRiffle played for the Philadelphia Eagles for three seasons, from 1938–1940. Following a series of ownership transactions known as the "Pennsylvania Polka," the Eagles moved to Pittsburgh to become the Pittsburgh Steelers.
