DiCicco served in the Assembly on the Commerce and Economic Development Committee and the Consumer Affairs Committee.[1] He received a B.A. degree in political science from Rowan University, an M.B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University, and a J.D. degree from Delaware Law School (now Widener University School of Law).[1] He is the executive vice president and general counsel of Alexander Gallo Holdings, LLC.[2] In 2009, DiCicco ran for the General Assembly seat vacated by Sandra Love, a Democrat. Running in a district where Democrats outnumber Republicans two to one, DiCicco defeated the Democratic candidate, local school board president William Collins, by a margin of 601 votes. He was sworn into office on January 12, 2010.[3] In the 2011 apportionment based on the results of the 2010 United States Census, DiCicco was placed in the 3rd District where he faced Democratic incumbents John J. Burzichelli and Celeste Riley. Burzichelli (with 25,172 votes) and Riley (23,960) won re-election, defeating DiCicco (20,268) and his running mate Bob Villare (20,528)[4] DiCicco's loss made his seat the only gain by the Democrats in the Assembly in the 2011 election cycle.[5] His seat in the 4th District was filled by Gabriela Mosquera, a Democrat.[6] He resides in Franklin Township, Gloucester County.[7] References1. ^{{cite news | date=January 25, 2010 | work=Philadelphia Inquirer | last=Hefler | first=Jan | title=Freshman GOP assemblyman begins work in Trenton | url=http://www.philly.com/philly/news/new_jersey/20100125_Freshman_GOP_assemblyman_begins_work_in_Trenton.html}} 2. ^1 {{cite web |title=Assemblyman Domenick DiCicco Jr. (R) |url=http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/members/BIO.asp?Leg=315 |publisher=New Jersey Legislature}} 3. ^{{cite news |title=Republican Domenick DiCicco took Assembly seat in heavy Democratic district with imaginative advertising |url=http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2010/01/republican_domenick_dicicco_to.html |work=The Star-Ledger |date=2010-01-15 |accessdate=2010-01-23}} 4. ^Official List Candidate Returns for General Assembly For November 2011 General Election{{dead link|date=September 2017 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }}, New Jersey Department of State, December 6, 2011.
