Donald Schmitt has practiced architecture with A.J Diamond since 1978 and is a Principal in the firm currently known as Diamond Schmitt Architects Incorporated. He is the Founding Chair of the City of Toronto Public Art Commission.[2] He is currently a member of the Advisory Committee on Planning, Design and Realty for Canada’s National Capitol Commission in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada[3] and is also a member of the Waterfront Toronto Revitalization Corporation (TWRC) Design Review Panel.[2] This group is responsible for reviewing waterfront designs for Toronto, Ontario Canada.
