}}Duchesneodus is a large brontothere endemic to North America during the Eocene living from 46.2—38 mya, existing for approximately {{Mya|46.2-38|million years}}.[1] TaxonomyDuchesneodus was named by Lucas and Schoch (1982).[2] It was assigned to Brontotheriidae by Lucas and Schoch (1982) and Carroll (1988); and to Brontotheriinae by Mader (1998).[3]MorphologyTwo specimens were examined by M.
