DYER-TV, channel 36, is a television station of Philippine television network 5. Its transmitter is located at Piña-Tamborong-Alaguisoc Road, Jordan, Guimaras. TV5 Iloilo started its official broadcast in July 2012.

5 Iloilo History

1962 - Pre-merger CBN opened another station, DYAQ-TV Channel 3 and similar to DZAQ-TV Channel 3.
1966 - Channels 3 & 4 broadcasts in color television.
1972 - Channels 3 & 4 shuts down under martiaw law of Ferdinand Marcos and Channel 3 was shut down.
1974 - GTV was formally re-launch, the acronym for its franchise name, Government Television (later Maharlika Broadcasting System, now People's Television Network).
1986 - Following the People Power Revolution on which it was taken over by pro-Corazon Aquino, the station was reopened as People's Television (PTV).
1992 - DYAQ-TV change calltetters to DYER-TV and switch affiliation to ABC 5 (now 5) and switching from channel 3 to channel 32.
2008 - DYER-TV switch from channel 32 to channel 36 and changes frequency from VHF to UHF.
