}} Dysgonia algira, the passenger, is a moth of the family Noctuidae. The species was first described by Carl Linnaeus in 1767. It is found in Europe (but primarily in Southern Europe), North Africa and the Near East. The wingspan is 40–46 mm. The moth flies from May to August depending on the location.
