}} The eight-lined wrasse, Pseudocheilinus octotaenia, is a species of wrasse native to the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It occurs on coral reefs at depths from {{convert|2|to|50|m|ft|abbr=on}}, preferring to shelter in niches and caves. This species can grow to {{convert|14|cm|in|abbr=on}} in standard length.
